Living Paint · Canvas Studio
A brush for every kind of mark.

THE IDEA
A brush for every kind of mark.
Before the fluid studios, a digital brush can already be a small experiment: change the mark, its texture and the way strokes build up.
What I built
A distinct Canvas2D creative studio with 75 brushes, document layers, darkroom controls and image export. This local portfolio copy opens without a paid-license mock-up.
Working with AI
Creative experiments become more useful when document behavior is predictable. The isolated tests check brush edges, document state and startup while the interface keeps a simple route from brush to canvas to export.
A QUICK DEMO
Make a painting from a few marks
Try the project with a small, deliberate experiment.
Actual Tidal Memory artwork and 26-second recording · September 10, 2026 · historical demo
Choose a brush and make a short stroke on the canvas.
Change the brush or color and compare how the marks build up. Try a new layer for a separate part of the image.
Use the darkroom to adjust the result, then export an image.
